A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and time. Your session is not confirmed until the deposit is received — the date is not held without it.

The remaining balance is due before or on the day of the session, prior to any deliverables being released.

This applies to all service types including editing projects. The 30% deposit is required before any work begins, with the balance due upon delivery.

Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking. Invoices are issued through official JoshNMotion channels.

Bookings are date-specific and first-come, first-served. Securing a deposit holds that exact date and time — not a general slot on the calendar.

Standard bookings require a minimum of 24 hours advance notice prior to the scheduled session time.

Rush bookings (same-day or less than 24 hours' notice) are subject to a rush fee and are available only upon confirmed availability.

Sessions that start late due to client tardiness will not be extended. The session ends at the originally scheduled time regardless of the start.

If you are more than 20 minutes late without prior notice, the session may be treated as a cancellation and the deposit forfeited.

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the session will forfeit the deposit in full. No exceptions.

Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance may be eligible to apply the deposit toward a rescheduled date, at my discretion. The deposit remains non-refundable in all cases.

Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee.

One complimentary reschedule is permitted per booking if requested at least 72 hours in advance. Rescheduled sessions must occur within 60 days of the original date, subject to availability.

Rescheduling requests made within 72 hours are subject to a $50 rescheduling fee or deposit forfeiture.

For outdoor sessions, weather-related rescheduling is handled collaboratively at no additional deposit cost.

In the rare event I need to cancel due to an emergency, the deposit will be refunded in full or applied to a new date — your choice.

Travel fees are based on one-way distance from my home base in Mira Mesa, San Diego, CA and are added to the project total at booking.

Travel fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable once a booking is confirmed. If an incorrect tier is selected, the difference will be invoiced before the session.

Any out-of-pocket expenses including parking fees, tolls, valet, and meters are the client's responsibility and will be itemized on the final invoice.

The client is responsible for securing any permits, permissions, or access required for the chosen location, including paid entry fees and venue costs.

If a location requires paid parking, a parking structure, valet, or any access fee, the client is responsible for covering or reimbursing those costs in full.

The full and accurate shoot address must be provided at the time of booking. Location changes must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.

The client is responsible for ensuring all subjects and participants are present and ready at the agreed session start time.

JoshNMotion is not responsible for delays or missed shots caused by late arrivals, lack of preparation, or inaccessible locations.

Photography: Edited galleries delivered within 7–14 business days of the session date.

Video — short-form / reels: Delivered within 5–10 business days depending on scope.

Video — long-form / documentary / event: Timelines agreed upon in writing prior to project start. Typical range is 3–6 weeks.

Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee. Inquire at the time of booking.

Turnaround begins once all necessary information, assets, and approvals have been received from the client.

Edited files are delivered via a private online gallery or file transfer link. Download promptly — links expire after 30 days.

It is the client's responsibility to back up and save all delivered files. JoshNMotion is not liable for lost files after delivery.

Projects are archived for a limited time post-delivery. Re-delivery after 60 days may incur an archival retrieval fee.

RAW, unedited files are not included in any standard package and will not be delivered unless explicitly offered.

File format and resolution will match what is standard for the service type, unless a specific format is requested and confirmed in advance.

Each project includes a set number of revision rounds as outlined in your project agreement or package details.

Revision requests must be submitted in a single, consolidated list. Multiple separate requests for the same round count as multiple rounds.

Revisions are for adjustments within the agreed scope — not for changes to the original creative direction or a complete re-edit.

Additional revision rounds beyond what's included are available at an hourly rate, billed before work begins.

All photos and videos remain the intellectual property of JoshNMotion. By booking, you grant me the right to use all content for portfolio, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes.

The client is granted a non-exclusive personal or commercial license as specified in the service agreement. Usage rights may not be resold, sublicensed, or transferred to third parties without written consent.

If you require full exclusivity or wish to restrict usage, this must be requested and agreed upon in writing before the session and may affect pricing.

I retain full creative discretion in editing style. Specific requests — mood, feel, references — should be shared during the inquiry or brief process, not after delivery.

All required legal documents — including model and/or talent release forms — will be sent digitally via email at booking confirmation.

All forms must be signed via e-signature at least 48 hours before the shoot. This is a firm requirement, not a formality.

If forms remain unsigned at the 48-hour mark, a reminder will be sent. If still unsigned within 24 hours of the shoot, the session will be canceled and the deposit forfeited.

This applies to all individuals appearing on camera. It is the client's responsibility to ensure all subjects complete required forms before the shoot date.

Sessions involving minors require a release signed by a parent or legal guardian.

No shoot will proceed and no files will be delivered without fully executed release forms on file. No exceptions.

I am available Monday through Saturday, up to 7:00 PM. Messages received after 7 PM will be responded to the following morning.

Sundays are unavailable. No messages, calls, or emails will be answered on Sundays. Please plan accordingly.

For time-sensitive project decisions, please allow at least 24 hours for a response during business days.

All project details, agreements, and revision requests should be communicated in writing — email or text — to keep a clear record for both parties.

JoshNMotion's liability is limited to the amount paid for the session in the event of equipment failure, data loss, or unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control.

In the event of a complete inability to deliver, JoshNMotion will offer a full refund or complimentary reshoot as the sole remedy.

The client assumes responsibility for ensuring their chosen location is safe and legally accessible.

JoshNMotion reserves the right to immediately terminate a session without refund if any participant engages in abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior toward the Photographer or any third party.

Sessions involving illegal activity or that place the Photographer in physical danger will be terminated immediately.

Requests for content that violates the Photographer's creative or ethical standards will be declined without refund of the deposit.

All prices are listed in USD. Accepted payment methods are confirmed at checkout or at the time of invoicing.

Outstanding balances not paid within 7 days of the invoice due date may result in withheld deliverables until payment is received.

Chargebacks initiated without first contacting JoshNMotion will be contested, and the client may be banned from future bookings.
